Today I have so, so much to be grateful for. So many people who have been such a blessing, so many things that I’ve been given, so much more than I need. I live a privileged life so disconnected from the reality of suffering around the world, but today my heart is breaking for those in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
As we’re celebrating all that we’re thankful for, many in the DRC have fled as refugees from Goma to surrounding nations as rebel forces have taken over the city. Others are hiding where they can. Would you say a prayer for them today? More: Aid worker’s diary: A cry for Goma (World Vision Blog).
